"I thought, man, this may be kind of a cool video to do live, plus it gets me out of acting," the singer jokes.

Rather than work out a storyline for the music video of his latest single, Justin Moore decided to captured all the fun of “Kinda Don’t Care” in a live setting for the clip. The Arkansas native has spent much of the year out on the road so it was only fitting that the video reflect his ‘hold nothing back’ attitude that the song portrays.

“I’ve often said my least favorite thing about this business is photo shoots and video shoots. Anytime I can get out of it, I try to do so, but at the same time I thought this would be a good live video song,” Moore explained to Sounds Like Nashville of his decision to take on the live approach.

It’s been several years since Moore released live footage for a music video so the song lent itself perfectly to the opportunity.

“We’ve been playing it live ever since the album came out actually. We haven’t done that in a long time. We did that years ago I think with maybe ‘Til My Last Day.’ We had two videos for that song, one of them was a live video, but I don’t think we’ve done it since. That was five, six years ago and so I thought, man, this may be kind of a cool video to do live, plus it gets me out of acting. It’s a shorter day for me, they’re just filming and I don’t even know it,” he said with a laugh.

The Cody Villalobos-directed clip was filmed across Moore’s shows in Sacramento CA, Redding, CA and Enumclaw, WA.

The single is the third, and title track, from Moore’s latest album. It follows the No.1 hits “You Look Like I Need A Drink” and “Somebody Else Will.” The singer is currently out on his Hell on a Highway Tour, which runs through April 2018.
