Typically, fans ask for autographs from their favorite celebrities and present a piece of paper or poster to be signed. Justin Moore, on the other hand, was reminiscing on the oddest thing he’s ever signed and his story tops most.

The moment was one he will never forget as Moore remembers an excited fan decided to have him sign something quite valuable to them: a baby.

“A baby [laughs], a few years back,” he said in response to the weirdest object he’s had to autograph. “That’s the honest truth. Somewhere in, it was either North or South Carolina, I don’t remember where it was. Some little small town type show, and this gal and I fought in the Meet and Greet line for probably twelve minutes and I said, ‘I am not signin’ this baby’ and finally she was not gonna give it up, so I signed a baby and it was pretty odd.”

As a father himself, he immediately felt bad for what he had just done and wanted to go back to erase the decision to do it.

“I wanted to take a wet wipe and get it off as soon as I did it,” he explained backstage at the CMA Music Festival last month.

Moore’s performance with Chris Janson and Hank Williams Jr. will be featured on the 2016 “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” special alongside other artists like Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley and more. The program will air on ABC on Wednesday, August 3 at 8 p.m. EST.
