It’s not often that an artist decides to embark on a co-headlining tour, but for Justin Moore, the idea to tour with Lee Brice was a no-brainer.

“Lee and I came out about the same time…He had some stuff out a little before I did, but Lee is a guy who I’ve respected and been a fan of from afar throughout our career,” Moore told Sounds Like Nashville and other media recently. “It’s been fun to see him have success that he’s had over the last handful of years, which I believe is a little bit later than it should’ve been because he’s super talented and a great guy and works his tail off.”

The two have not only come up together career-wise, but have also expanded their families at the same time, with Moore currently preparing for his fourth child and Brice for his third. The expanded families have somewhat changed what life on the road means for the pair, who are both trying to stay rested for time at home with the kids.

“Typically on these type of tours, we’ve always bickered over who’s gonna close. He and I are getting to the point, I don’t know if in our career or lives, we’re like ‘Man, do you wanna close tonight?’ I can have my PJ’s on by 9 [if he closes],” he chuckled.

Moore and Brice’s American Made Tour will continue its run through the end of April.
