It wasn’t that long ago that Justin Moore announced that he and his wife were expecting their fourth child together this summer. While the couple, who are parents to three little girls, Ella, 7, Kennedy, 5, and Klein, 2, is busy preparing for their next miracle, there is one thing they plan on keeping a mystery… the gender!

“That’s a battle that’s ongoing in my house. Kate didn’t want to find out on our youngest and I convinced her to and talked her into it and she is adamant that we will not find out this time as well which I despise the idea of not finding out because I just hate surprises. I don’t know if it’s a control thing or what but I got to thinking that I could probably talk her into finding out but I feel like it would be rather selfish of me seeing as this is the last one no matter what… and I quote, they’re gonna tie some stuff up this time,” Moore explained to Sounds Like Nashville and other media at his No.1 party celebrating “You Look Like I Need A Drink.” “But yeah I wanna find out, she doesn’t wanna find out…so we’re not gonna find out.”

While the age old question of “boy or girl” will stay under wraps until the bundle of joy arrives, the Arkansas native shared what his 7-year-old daughter Ella is hoping for.

“We were asking each of them if they wanted a little brother or a little sister. Ella said, ‘if it’s a girl, I will never talk to it, I will never hold it, I don’t even wanna see it.’ And so Kate was going, ‘Well, it very well may be a girl. You’re a girl. What if we would’ve thought that about you?’ And she was like ‘I don’t care I don’t want another one.’ Needless to say, she wants a little brother,” he said with a laugh.

Fans can expect the newest little Moore to arrive this June. In the meantime, Moore is busy out on the road with Lee Brice for their co-headlining American Made Tour. His current single, “Somebody Else Will,” is at country radio now.
