Kacey Musgraves Slated as Opening Act for Harry Styles in 2018
Musgraves will truck along with Styles beginning in her home state of Texas in June of 2018.
‘Follow Your Arrow’ in ‘One Direction’ and you’ll find Kacey Musgraves joining pop rocker Harry Styles as the opening act for his 2018 world tour.
The country singer earned herself a spot on the eclectic roster alongside front man Styles for the American leg of his extended tour schedule. Although the two have never previously worked together and root themselves in separate genres, their songwriting abilities and unique approach to their sounds will unite the two (and their devoted fans) in an intriguing way as they travel along together.
For those who haven’t caught up the ‘Sign of the Times’ era, Styles is currently working on solo projects, like that of his fellow band members, during the One Direction hiatus. Musgraves, who also seemed to be taking a break from the game to work on new music, will hopefully release a taste or teaser before her endeavor next summer with Styles.
Tapping into the pop pool isn’t new for Musgraves, though; she previously opened up for Katy Perry on the Prismatic World Tour in 2014 and even put on a CMT Crossroads performance with the pop star in which the two bonded over their quirky styles and tongue-in-cheek antics.
