Kane Brown Engaged to Singer Katelyn Jae
"What Ifs" singer Kane Brown has found the love of his life in singer Katelyn Jae and has announced the couple's Easter engagement.
When it comes to love, Kane Brown has no more “What Ifs.” The 23-year-old singer has found the love of his life in singer Katelyn Jae and asked for her hand in marriage.
“It’s hard to do this job — you know, there’s girls involved — you’ve got to stay out of trouble, it’s really hard,” said Brown in during his show in Philadelphia (April 18) as seen in a video posted by a fan on Twitter. “I just got engaged to a girl from Philadelphia. This is my first time making this announcement, but we’re in Philly, so I thought I had to go ahead and make the announcement.”
Brown got down on one knee on Easter (April 16) and had originally shared the news on Instagram before deleting the post after negative comments from fans.
The singer and his fiancée attended the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards together in April just months after Brown opened up about their relationship on Facebook.
“I found my other half. I know a lot of people might get mad I’m in a relationship but if you’re a true fan u won’t,” Brown wrote in a post from January. “She keeps me Sane, she keeps me happy she’s my girl. God Bless.”
The two appear frequently in each other’s social channels with pictures chronicling their relationship. No word yet on when the couple will say “I do.”
