The children within the halls of the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital were treated to a little break in the day when Kane Brown stopped by for a special visit (4/30). As many of the patients rest and recover from their ailments, the rising country star hoped to brighten their days with games and stories galore.

In partnership with country radio station K-FROG 95.1 FM, Brown took time to encourage the young patients through difficult times. His visit began with a stop in the LLUCH Toyota Learning Center, where he let students in on his difficult past and struggles with school. In speaking with him, he encouraged each of them to push past their obstacles and be the best they could be.

After his stop in the learning center, Brown checked out some of the LLUCH units. During his time in the ward, the hospital shares, five-year-old Jennifer Nguyen was so excited for her visitor that she insisted on getting out of bed to greet him. The two spent time chatting and laughing, before bidding farewell to one another with a special hug.

As well as with Nguyen, Brown dedicated time to patients by playing video games, taking photos, joking around and sharing his story as a source of inspiration.
