Colliding both worlds of the then and now, Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban teamed up to create their own mash-up of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” and Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind.”

As they face opposite ways back to back, Lambert and Urban harmonize solemnly with one another to make the well-known melodies come to life in modern times in a simple and timeless manner. While the two of them are known for their collaboration on the song, “We Were Us,” the slowed-down feel on this duet brings feelings back to the good ol’ days of past country icons.

Leading up to the 50th Annual CMA Awards, CMA has been posting short clips of these duets between new artists taking on older songs to blend the past and the future together. Commemorating all of what country music has accomplished in that time frame, the videos stand for their theme of “Forever Country.” Both Lambert and Urban participated in the making and recording of the “Forever Country” mega collaboration recently, which blew up all over the airwaves and news.

Lambert and Urban are nominated for a number of awards during the 50th anniversary of the CMAs, and it was just recently announced that Lambert will be performing at the event among many other artists that night. Urban is also scheduled to take the stage during “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”

Fans can tune into the 50th Annual CMA Awards will air on Wednesday, November 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
