If you find yourself in Nashville without your trusty duet partner, no need to worry. All you have to do is call on the crowd to help fill in.

That’s exactly what Keith Urban did when he performed his current single, “The Fighter” at the Grand Ole Opry as a part of his 5th anniversary as an Opry member. He was just missing one thing: his collaborative partner, Carrie Underwood.

In search of a duet partner, Urban asked, “Should we give it a try as a duet between me and you guys tonight?” The crowd responded with an enthusiastic cheer.

Though they might not have quite the vocal prowess that Underwood does, the fans at the Grand Ole Opry knew every word and did a pretty good job of singing along to the stripped down rendition. The Grand Ole Opry shared a video of the performance so the rest of the world would not miss out on the cool moment.

The fans are not the only ones who have stepped in to help Urban with the duet.

Urban stopped by The Graham Norton Show in the U.K. on May 19 where it seemed like he would be performing “The Fighter” alone. As if his guitar shredding was not enough to make up for it, Melanie C., or Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls, surprised the audience with an impromptu duet.

Underwood will be back to perform the duet with Urban at the 2017 CMT Music Awards, joining a host of other star-studded collaborations. You can watch the 2017 CMT Music Awards live from Nashville on June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“The Fighter” is the latest single from Keith Urban’s album, Ripcord, and follows previous singles “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Break On Me,” “Wasted Time,” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
