Country music added several dynamic performances to the 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year event honoring Fleetwood Mac on Jan. 26. Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Alison Krauss and Zac Brown Band all participated in the tribute concert at New York City’s famed Radio City Music Hall, paying homage to the legacy of the legendary group.

Krauss brought her haunting vocals to a cover of the beautiful “Songbird,” offering an understated, yet strong performance that brought a hush onto the crowd. Urban added a burst of energy to the show with a spirited rendition of “Second Hand News” while rocking out on guitar. Little Big Town looked and sounded classic with their performance of “Dreams,” contributing their harmonies to the humble cover. And Zac Brown Band demonstrated their musicianship with their performance of the lively “Don’t Stop.”

Fleetwood Mac is the first band to win the coveted award from the Recording Academy for their significant contributions to the music world and their avid support for various charities. Other stars paying tribute to the group included Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, Lorde, OneRepublic and Brandi Carlile.

Krauss, Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town all scored nominations at the 2018 Grammy Awards. Krauss appears in the category of Best Country Solo Performance for her song “Losing You,” while Zac Brown Band and Little Big Town are nominated in Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “My Old Man” and “Better Man,” respectively. LBT’s “Better Man” also earned a nomination for Best Country Song and and their chart-topping album, The Breaker is up for Best Country Album.

The 2018 Grammy Awards will be held at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 28, airing live on CBS at 7:30PM ET.
