Keith Urban Plans On a Relaxing Day at Home for Father’s Day
“I’ll be home for Father’s Day. It feels great to be able to be home for Father’s Day," Urban said.
After a huge year of touring in 2016, Keith Urban chose to slow down a bit when it came to being away from his family in the past few months.
For Father’s Day, he plans to soak in all the relaxation he can with his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their daughters as he actually gets the time to be at home on the holiday. Rather than trying to follow through with some extravagant night out or a huge family ordeal, Urban just wishes to be surrounded by his girls and loved for the dad role he’s happy to take on every day.
“I’ll be home for Father’s Day. It feels great to be able to be home for Father’s Day. I’ve got good memories of many Father’s Days we’ve had with our girls. For me, at the same time, raising them right now, I feel like it’s Father’s Day most of the time. They write nice things and draw pictures for me, and it’s just heaven,” he told Sounds Like Nashville and other media recently.
Urban and Kidman have two daughters together, Sunday and Faith, and the country singer recently told the crowd at the 2017 CMT Music Awards that they’d be the lucky ladies on his arm next year to attend the awards show.
Their girls also support their daddy as much as they can, showing off some posters they made for their musical father in a cute Instagram post just a few months ago.
Keith Urban’s current single, “The Fighter,” is climbing up the country charts.
