If you ‘Wannabe’ Keith Urban’s duet partner, you gotta get with the Spice Girls.

Urban and wife Nicole Kidman stopped by the U.K.’s late night talk show, The Graham Norton Show, recently to chat about celebrations such as turning the big 5-0 and the most embarrassing moments with awkward family photos to share. Bringing country music across the pond, Urban decided to perform his latest hit, “The Fighter,” but needed a special lady to fill the spot for Carrie Underwood while abroad.

The country crooner ‘spiced up his life’ by having Melanie C., or Sporty Spice from the iconic girl band, join him for an impromptu duet. Mel C. threw Spice Girls fans back in time with her unique vocals on the battling love duet, creating a dynamic harmony not heard in the original take.

As Urban jammed out on his guitar shredding the hook, Mel C. danced around to the catchy beat in her navy pantsuit ensemble. When the worlds of pop and country collided during their performance, the audience ate up every minute and got to see what country music is all about.

Returning back to the States just in time for the 2017 CMA Music Festival, Keith Urban will reunite with Underwood just before the weekend to perform their spirited duet live at the 2017 CMT Music Awards as one of the many collaborations for the night.

Fans can check out the awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
