Keith Urban took home the top honor of the night by earning the award for the 2017 Video of the Year at the 2017 CMT Music Awards for his hit “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

I don’t know what to say, this award is for everybody watching that voted for this. Everyone in the room tonight, it’s for all of you. Everybody outside that couldn’t get in, everybody that comes to see us play in concert, I just wish God blessings for all of you and your families,” Urban said overwhelmed with emotion. “I love making music, I love making videos, I love making records, writing songs, I love touring, I love doing what I get to do, maybe more than ever right now, because you don’t know how long you get to do it.”

The superstar had a huge night, taking home a total of four trophies including Collaborative Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year and Social Superstar.

“I always say it’s cool playing music, it’s not cool working music and so I love what I get to do,” Urban concluded. “I get to play music, you guys allow me to do that and when you support this music and connect with it the way you do, because that’s all I’m trying to do I’m just trying to make a connection. So God bless everyone of you. Baby girl I love you.”

Marking off another box in their successful year. The award means even more to them, as it was voted on by fans right down to the nitty-gritty of it all when the awards broadcast began.

Other nominees in the prestigious category included Miranda Lambert’s “Vice,” Artists Then, Now & Forever’s “Forever Country,” Carrie Underwood’s “Church Bells,” Florida Georgia Line’s “H.O.L.Y.,” Luke Bryan’s “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” and Cole Swindell’s “Middle of a Memory.”
