Just call him “Keith Urban… dream maker.”

During his show in Adelaide, Australia, Urban invited 16-year-old fan named Amy Jennifer to join him onstage. Amy was clearly excited to meet the Grammy-winning singer as she was unable to answer his questions and proclaimed, “I’m sorry – you’re so beautiful!”

After some back and forth, Urban got her set up with a stool, worked as her “bloody guitar tech” (“What can’t he do, ladies and gentlemen, what can’t he do?” asked Amy) and allowed her to take the spotlight. The budding singer performed a song she had written about a boy “who was really not very nice.” called “Closing That Door.”

This isn’t the first time Urban has featured a budding star on stage during his tour. Back in September during his run in Canada, Urban brought two young girls onstage and the eldest, Hailey, took a moment in the spotlight to perform an original song of her own.

Urban will soon wrap his run of dates in Australia for his Ripcord World Tour before making his way back to the States to perform during Nashville’s New Year’s Eve celebration.
