Kellie Pickler, Sara Evans, The Band Perry to Compete on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’
Each celebrity team will have a chance to raise money for their favorite charity.
Country music is taking over season 2 of Celebrity Family Feud this year! In the brand new upcoming season, Kellie Pickler, Sara Evans and The Band Perry are among the star-studded list of celebs looking to raise money for their favorite charities.
“In each episode of Celebrity Family Feud, celebrity families, and their immediate family members or their extended TV families, will compete against each other to win money for charity,” a press release on ABC’s website reads. “Each team will be made up of a celebrity captain, with four relatives or friends playing along. The winning celebrity team will be given a chance to win up to $25,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.”
The “Little Bit Gypsy” singer will play to raise money for the United Service Organizations, Inc. (USO), along with her husband Kyle Jacobs, sister Courtney Pickler Howard, brother-in-law Bradley Howard, and friend Caroline Hobby. The Pickler clan will face off against boy-band royalty when they challenge *NSYNC’er Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin, mother June Bass, sister Stacy Bass Lofton and brother-in-law Ford Lofton.
Sara Evans hopes to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She will compete with her brothers Jay Evans and Matt Evans and sisters Lesley Lyons and Ashley Simpson. Team Evans will play against “Chrisley Knows Best” star Todd Chrisley and his family.
The Band Perry will also take a swing at the hit game show as they work to raise money for Teen Cancer America. Kimberly, Reid and Neil will all participate, along with paternal cousins Ann-Carter Bloomfield and Hunter Bloomfield. They will battle “Fashion Police” host Giuliana Rancic, backed by husband Bill Rancic, sister-in-law Karen Soenen, mother Anna DePandi and Bill’s cousin Tom Comstock.
Other celebrity guests slated to compete on Celebrity Family Feud include Paula Deen, Sugar Ray Leonard, NeNe Leakes, Laila Ali, Alana Stewart, Paul Sorvino, Snoop Dogg, Ernie Hudson, Alfonso Ribeiro, Garrett Morris, Carson Kressley and Dave Foley.
Season 2 of Celebrity Family Feud kicks off Sunday, June 26 at 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT on ABC.
