Kelly Clarkson’s Three-Year-Old Daughter Is ‘So Into Bad Boys’

Kelly Clarkson is a spitfire in her own right, so it’s no surprise that her three-year-old daughter River Rose is her mini-me. The Texas native, who is the newest coach on NBC’s hit reality competition show The Voice, had the chance to sit down and talk about the upcoming season, but not without a little mention of her boy-crazy kid.

Referencing a photo Clarkson posted to Instagram of River staring deeply into Gaston’s eyes at Disneyland, Access Hollywood couldn’t resist but ask about River’s love for the Beauty and the Beast antagonist.

“I’m so worried, y’all. The foreshadowing that my three-year-old puts out is so scary,” Clarkson chuckled as she sat beside her team’s adviser, Hailee Steinfeld. “There’s so many moments, but like she is in love with Gaston. Literally he walked around the whole park with her, like literally the whole park, just holding hands. She was just like ‘Gaston held my hand.’ I was like ‘You’re done, ma’am.’”

River’s love for Disney’s characters, both good and evil, runs especially deep as seen through many of Clarkson’s social media posts. For her third birthday, River was thrown an over-the-top Disney-themed party, complete with princess dresses (she wore Belle’s dress!), carriages, parasols, cupcakes and more.

Kelly Clarkson and her brood may spend more time in the company of Gaston as the family will be out in Los Angeles as she prepares to join The Voice as a coach on season 14. The season, also featuring Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys, will premiere Monday, Feb. 26.
