Kelly Clarkson Pens Children’s Book, ‘River Rose and the Magical Lullaby’

GRAMMY-awarding winner Kelly Clarkson can now add “author” to her resume.

The superstar is set to release a children’s book, entitled River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, in October of this year.

“I am officially announcing that I have a children’s book coming out,” the Texas native shared in a video posted to Facebook this morning.

She went on to reveal that the book was inspired by her daughter and the travels they’ve taken as family. The book came to life when Clarkson re-read notes she had taken while on their trips.

“I guess my hope is for little kids to read River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and be inspired by it and know they can achieve anything and still dream big and make big things happen.”
