Kelsea Ballerini has looked to many incredible female artists as a foundation for the career she’s building. One of those artists is Kelly Clarkson, who has invited the budding superstar out on her “Meaning of Life Tour” in 2019 as direct support.

“I saw @kelly_clarkson on her Behind These Hazel Eyes tour when I was 13 and it solidified my dream of being an artist. Now this. Feeling so beyond lucky to warm the stage up for my favorite artist next year. ❤️,” wrote Kelsea on Twitter as the major tour was announced.

Clarkson also shared the news with a video posted to Twitter. In the clip, Clarkson uses the app Smule to sing her song “Meaning of Life” with Ballerini, and her winner from The Voice, Brynn Cartelli.

Clarkson and Ballerini will likely have run-ins ahead of the tour as both are slated to appear on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. Clarkson will sit among Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Jennifer Hudson as a coach, while Ballerini helps assist six comeback contestants hoping to make their dreams come true.
