2017 is sure to be the year of the country music ladies as Kelsea Ballerini and Maddie & Tae are the only two country acts to land on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.

The class of 2017 features 600 young professionals within 20 industries and embraces the boldness of youth. The categories include Music (with features Ballerini and Maddie & Tae), Art & Style, Consumer Tech, Education, Energy, Enterprise Tech, Finance, Food & Drink, Games, Healthcare, Hollywood & Entertainment, Law & Policy, Manufacturing & Industry, Marketing & Advertising, Media, Retail & E-commerce, Science, Social Entrepreneurs, Sports and Venture Capital. Once a person is featured, they cannot be featured again to insure new, budding talent is featured each year.

It’s no surprise Ballerini made the short list in music as she had a stand out 2016. The singer not only notched three consecutive No.1s with her debut singles, but also earned nominations at the CMA Awards, ACM Awards and even the upcoming GRAMMYs. The Knoxville, TN native will hit the road in 2017 with soon-to-be superstar Thomas Rhett while also planning a wedding to her Aussie love, Morgan Evans.

Maddie & Tae hit the country music scene when they debuted their anti-bro-country single “Girl In A Country Song” and have been continuing to wide that wave of success. The duo has brought songs like “Fly,” “Shut Up and Fish,” and “Sierra” to country radio since. Currently, the girls are featured in Bloomingdale’s with their collection for the store’s AQUA line. Maddie & Tae also took home two Radio Disney Awards recently, one for Radio Disney Country Favorite Artist and the other for Radio Disney Country Favorite Song for “Fly.”

The impressive list of 600 young professionals also includes Daya, Troye Sivan, Hillary Duff, Elle Fanning, Tyler Oakley, Margot Robbie, among others. See the full list on forbes.com.
