Kelsea Ballerini Takes Social Media Hiatus
"...As I create, write, and finish my record, I'm going to take a little break from social media," she shared with fans.
Kelsea Ballerini is taking the whole ‘new year, new you’ cliché to heart with a cleanse from the social media life.
Rather than use the hiatus away from her social accounts as a disappearing act for the country star, she’s gearing up all the creativity she can find outside of the virtual world to focus in on for her next project. As a goodbye to fans for a little while, Ballerini posted a beautiful sunset shot with a message for them all to think happy thoughts as she heads into her upcoming album work.
“Spent the last month traveling for both work and play and have seen some of the most beautiful beaches, sunsets, and starry skies I’ve ever experienced. my creativity and inspiration are bursting at the seams as I head home to Nashville, and for the next 2 weeks i’m going to dive into that and see what I can find. so, as I create, write, and finish my record, I’m going to take a little break from social media. I want to make sure that every second is spent with intention and focus so I can make something beautiful to share with you guys when it’s ready and when I’m ready. I love you guys and appreciate your support and love and excitement more than you know and will be back soooooon. Til then, my team will be covering any announcements or social commitments on my twitter & facebook. LOVE YOU,” she captioned the snapshot.
Ballerini has been enjoying some down time after her huge year in 2016, traveling to Australia with her fiancé to ring in the new year and getting back to work by sailing away on the Country Cruising event earlier this month.
The “Yeah Boy” singer will continue to work on her sophomore release before heading out on the Home Team Tour this spring with Thomas Rhett, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd. Fans can find more details about the dates and tickets on her website.
