Kenny Chesney Announces Big Gillette Stadium Show for 2017
Joining him for his brief one-night stint in New England are none other than Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion for a special night of music.
Summer after summer, Kenny Chesney has been playing huge stadium shows throughout the country to thousands upon thousands of devoted fans. Although he previously announced that he would be taking a break on his routine summer tour in 2017, he decided to give fans just a little taste of what to expect come 2018.
Chesney took to his Facebook page to release a video announcing that despite his break from being on the road, he will be playing one massive show at one of his favorite venues in the country, Gillette Stadium, toward the end of the summer. He reached out to the fans with not only his oceanside video clip, but a nice message to his online followers about the spontaneous show announcement.
“Even though I’m not going to go out with a full tour next year, I can’t imagine summer without getting out there and rocking everyone at Gillette Stadium. From the beginning, the amount of heart and soul that came at us from the first note at Gillette was beyond intense. It’s never let up, it’s never slowed down. Every summer, every show, every song, they push us even harder than we push them. It’s kind of addicting, and something I can’t imagine a summer without. So we’re coming, Boston – and you know, this is our one shot at a big, big show, so you better get ready,” he wrote.

Tickets for the show on August 25, 2017, will go on sale this Wednesday, November 23 on Chesney’s official website.
