Kenny Chesney has been soaking up every single moment from his Spread the Love Tour, playing stadium after stadium as the headliner among many talented opening acts. As summer starts to come to a close, the tour will also be finishing up its last couple dates left. Saving them for the New England area, Chesney is excited to go out with a bang.

For his last two dates in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Chesney is pulling out all the stops for his family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate the end of a great tour run around the people he is closest to.

“It’s such a great way to end every year, you know, those two nights in Foxboro…we know we got a lot of family, a lot of friends, a lot of my island friends come there…a lot of them are from the New England area, and we go through so many ups and downs on any tour, but we get through all that knowing that we get those two nights in Boston and in New England there in Foxboro at Gillette Stadium,” Chesney said.

Although he’s thrilled to be performing and to finish up a fantastic summer, Chesney also understands how sad it is to see another tour gone.

“It’s two nights of just a lot, lot of energy and a lot of fun, and it’s always bittersweet, because you know it’s great to be able to do what we do, and as tired as you are, and sometimes as tired as you want to get away from it you still don’t want to let it go either, so those nights are always bittersweet but they’re great,” he explained.

While fans at the show can expect a good time, it will be the last shows Chesney will play until his performance at the Bristol Motor Speedway with Old Dominion and The Band Perry on September 9.
