“Well, I think it has two faces: just to be able to get along in your life and walk away from negativity, you know? And I think there’s a lot of that in our lives. You’ve got some of the networks on here, and if you watch enough TV, it’s interesting to see what’s happening and especially with people of power because they’re acting like children. And no matter who you voted for—like we said, we didn’t want to get political—but this is not a political song. This is a very happy song,” Chesney explained of the track to SiriusXM’s The Highway.
