The summer country king, Kenny Chesney, will be performing at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.

Playing alongside pop singer Meghan Trainor and Aussie rock boy band 5 Seconds of Summer, Chesney will join the crew to celebrate America’s 240th birthday on the NBC special.

According to People.com, the show will feature performances from each of the artists before concluding with a wondrous 25-minute fireworks display. The show will be synchronized in effect with a score performed by Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holliday and the United States Airforce Band. The display will also have 56,000 fireworks of all different kinds going off throughout the finale.

The event, held in New York City, will go out with quite the bang featuring the fireworks, as well as a sky display of the patriotic initials, U.S.A., for all to see. Today show hosts Willie Geist and Tamron Hall will be co-hosting the national event.

Chesney and co. will rock the nation on the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, which will air on NBC on July 4 at 8 p.m. EST.
