Kenny Chesney Announces Stadium Portion of 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour

After laying relatively low in 2017, country superstar Kenny Chesney is ready to kick it into full gear with the announcement of his massive 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour.

Kicking off April 21 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the 2018 trek will have Chesney visiting 18 stadiums across the United States, with additional shows to be announced at a later date. Joining him on the stadium portion of the tour will be Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and newcomer Brandon Lay.

“There’s nothing like a stadium full of people coming together to remind you what life’s about,” Chesney says. “The energy, the moments, the fun. Every single one of these artists who’re coming out with us for Trip Around the Sun live their lives the exact same way: they work hard, they appreciate what they’re given and they love music every bit as much as they love life. I, personally, can’t wait to see this show hit the road.”

After digging through hours upon hours of live music recordings selecting songs from his forthcoming 30-song live album, Live in No Shoes Nation, out October 27, the eight-time Entertainer of the Year is more than ready to get back on stage.

“Listening to all those tapes of all those shows led to Live in No Shoes Nation, and playing those two nights in Foxboro this year made me really want to get out there with all the people who LIVE this music,” he shares. “We have so much fun, so much life, so many memories – all tied up in these shows and these songs – I am ready to get out there and kick into another summer where we can all celebrate how lucky we are to love life and be able to come together.”

Tickets for the Trip Around the Sun will be available HERE, with select pre-sales beginning October 18.
