Kip Moore ‘Can’t Wait’ To Tour With Miranda Lambert

Kip Moore is becoming quite the road warrior. Not only has he extended his Wild Ones Tour into 2016 because of its success during its fall run, but he’s also taking it international with stops in Europe and Australia.

For Moore, the chance to play overseas is a really exciting experience. “Anytime I get to go play for people that have never seen what we do, it excites me,” Kip told Sounds Like Nashville. “We played C2C last year, and I knew that we had done something special over there with the fans. I felt it and I read the articles after and I saw kind of what people were talking about, about our particular performance. So when they went to book the shows, tickets went so fast, it was like ‘okay, well maybe we can scale these things up.’ So that’s what we’ve been doing.”

Though he knows he’s doing something right in his live performances, the “Running For You” singer also appreciates learning from other artists, like he expects to when he opens for Miranda Lambert’s Keeper Of The Flame Tour.

“I can’t wait to go with someone like Miranda because I know I’m going to learn. I still have that side of me. I love going and seeing really good artists where I can kind of pick up a few tidbits on things to do and things not to do,” he told us. “I’ve just always had a lot of respect for the writer that Miranda is and just the artist that she is. That’s why I can’t wait to get out there and just to get to see what she does on a nightly basis.”
