Kip Moore Gives Fans Intimate Performance
After driving several hours to see Kip Moore & missing his set, fans were treated to a private show from the "More Girls Like You" singer.
Several Kip Moore fans drove hours to see the country rocker perform over the weekend only to make it in time to catch the very end of his set. The singer got word of this and was determined to do something to remedy the situation.
“Decided to give them their own show after they drove 5 hrs and only caught the end of the encore…good peeps!” he captioned a photo of an empty theater as he performed for the four fortunate fans.
Moore is well known for going the extra mile for fans at his shows, whether it’s staying late to sign autographs or pose for photos. In a cover story interview with Sound Like Nashville in February, the singer says it is the fans that have given him newfound tranquility and encouragement while working on his forthcoming third album.
“As far as making music this time around, I’ve had such a sense of peace,” he tells Sounds Like Nashville. “The fans have given me a lot of that with ‘Wild Ones’ not being as commercially successful but watching the way they’ve reacted to that record and the way they’ve supported that record, and coming out to the shows.”
He added that seeing the support every night on tour has reinforced him to do what he’s been doing, knowing full well that his fans will continue to stand behind him. Moore’s current single is “More Girls Like You.” It’s the lead song off his upcoming third project, due out later this year.
