Kip Moore Lands Fourth No. 1 Hit with ‘More Girls Like You’

Getting a No. 1 hit for any country artist means the world, but Kip Moore can call himself a lucky man with the accomplishment of snagging his fourth top single with “More Girls Like You.”

Paving his own path to the top, Moore rose to the best slot on the countdown with his anthem of a track blowing past the competition. Rather than sticking to the mainstream look of country at the moment, Moore wanted to solidify her personal sound over following the formula and it looks as though his authentic efforts paid off.

“I found a lot of peace in staying authentic to my own true feelings as a person and my music. I’ve always believed that magic can truly happen once you tap into the core of who you are and what you feel. To see that music resonate and this song ultimately reach No. one is far beyond what I imagined. I’m so thankful to my team, everyone at country radio and the fans for getting behind this song, we couldn’t have done it without you all,” Moore said.

Moore expressed his gratitude to his social media followers as well, shouting out his promotions team at his label for all of their dedication to push the single further week after week.

Moore’s previous No. 1 hits include smash records such as “Beer Money,” “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” and “Hey Pretty Girl.” His song, “More Girls Like You,” comes off his third record, SLOWHEART, which was released back in September of 2017.

The country singer will hit the road with pals Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen for a quick songwriters tour called Tall Tales and the Truth Tour. Tickets for the shows are available through Moore’s website.
