Kip Moore will be rolling with Tony Hawk soon to help inspire kids for a good cause right in the heart of Music City.

The two plan to ‘ollie’ up a fun time for all at the Music City Skate Jam Presented by Harley-Davidson, which will feature skate moves from Hawk himself and a few performances from Moore and some of his country music pals like Jordan Davis and Dee Jay Silver.

As a charitable member of the country music community, Moore always wants to give back as much as he can and does so with his Kip’s Kids Fund. Inspiring young minds to get active and stay on the right path rather than find themselves in negative situations, Moore hopes to continue helping all of the children he can one skate park, or activity, at a time.

“I think what’s always driven me at my core, throughout my career, was to one day have the capability to make a major impact in inner cities around the country,” said Moore. “I was never a true skater, but always admired the brotherhood of the skating community. Having a chance to team up with a guy like Tony, who’s so respected for all he does, is beyond what I could’ve imagined. I’m super stoked to combine what we do, as we both share similar visions.”

Although Hawk doesn’t reside in the Nashville area, he still supports the same universal initiative Moore shows throughout his platform in professional extreme sports. As a skateboarder himself, Hawk looks upon the event as a way to teach kids alternative ways to avoid going down the wrong road in their lives.

“The Music City Skate Jam is the first event of its kind, bringing skateboarding and country music together,” said Hawk. “I’m excited to show Nashville an unprecedented display of talent, including some of the world’s best skaters and Kip Moore himself.”

The Music City Skate Jam Presented by Harley-Davidson will be held in the Walk of Fame Park in Nashville on September 10. Tickets are available to purchase now.
