Kip Moore is ready to give his fans a little bit more before the end of the year runs up with the release of his new EP, Underground.

The 5-track EP features songs that were all co-written by Moore himself and also has three live performance pieces that will add to Moore’s country catalogue of great hits. While it’s just an EP full of personal songs to Moore, the country singer still has many more up his sleeve when it comes time to release a full studio album within the next few months.

“The problem I often face is leaving behind some songs, because I never stop writing,” said Moore. “I write so many that some never see the light of day.  I’ve been working on a full record, which looks to be coming out in late spring, but everywhere we go the fans keep asking for the recordings of these underground songs that they’ve been hearing for the last few years.  They’re a passionate fan base so I decided to ask my label if I could record these songs live and give them the raw recordings.  These songs are completely separate from the new record I’ve been making, I simply made this EP for the true fans.”

Underground is the follow-up release to Moore’s sophomore effort, Wild Ones, and will hopefully stir up some excitement for fans when it comes out on October 28.

Currently, Moore is on tour throughout the rest of the year with dates lined up until mid-December. Fans can find more information about the tour dates of his website.
