Kristian Bush Performs ‘Forever Now’ to Today Show Newlyweds
Kristian Bush sang his song, “Forever Now (Say Yes),” that just so happened to be perfect for the live wedding on the Today Show Thursday.
It’s not every day that a couple meets randomly in Rockefeller Plaza during a taping of the Today Show and then proceeds to get married live on the set of the same television show they met at. For a special occasion such as this, it was necessary that Kristian Bush perform for the couple’s first dance.
Bush sang his new song, “Forever Now (Say Yes),” that just so happened to be perfect for the loving moment on the Today Show Thursday morning. Penned with weddings in mind, Bush sang passionately as the couple slow-danced sweetly to the acoustic rhythm.
The song itself comes inspired by a visit to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City, where Bush recently visited to help out his guitar tech and fiancée pick out the perfect dress for their upcoming wedding. Kleinfeld is the all-time wedding destination for brides around the world and the focal point for the TLC hit reality show, Say Yes to the Dress. Bush’s new song will serve as its theme song for episodes to come.
Blindly unaware of the impact that “Forever Now” would have on brides and grooms, Bush has received adoring attention over the special day song. Bush plans to promote the single and play shows throughout the summer, stopping along to play a set at CMA Music Festival in June.
