Kristian Bush Records New Theme For ‘Say Yes To The Dress’
If you’re a fan of TLC’s hit show, Say Yes To The Dress, you’ll probably hear a familiar voice in the theme song.
The song, “Forever Now (Say Yes)” was recorded by Kristian Bush and debuted with the show’s 14th season premiere on March 4. The singer will also appear on the show later in the season when he visits Kleinfeld with his guitar tech’s fiancée, Evyn, as she searches for a dress. His visit to the bridal store helped inspire him to write the song.
“I’ve started calling that place [Kleinfeld] ‘a warehouse of hope.’ There were so many dreams that were coming true around me, all at the same time. As a songwriter, it was intoxicating, seeing the very intimate experiences of strangers looking for the right dress to face the mystery of the rest of their lives. I realized as I sat down to write the song that each of those women was ready for their ‘forever’,” Bush said in a recent interview with The Knot.
