Lady Antebellum may be thousands of miles of away from the United States for the European leg of their You Look Good World Tour, but their hearts and minds are back at home after a massive shooting at a country music concert claimed 58 innocent lives and injured hundreds of others.

While the GRAMMY-winning trio’s shows are still going on, the thoughts of what happened back at home are never far away, especially during their recent stop at the Manchester Arena, a site where 22 people lost their lives just months ago when a suicide bomber attacked an Ariana Grande concert.

“We just wanted to take a second to just formally, and just with unity, acknowledge what happened a couple of days ago and how I think all of us here are dealing with it,” said the band’s Hillary Scott in a clip shared to the band’s Facebook page. “We know people that were there and everybody onstage, offstage in Vegas and being so far away from home, we’re not going to live in fear here. This is a safe space because we’re all here together and because not only have I and our family and so many people here, so many people we don’t even know, have prayed for us before we got here.”

Scott’s husband, Chris Tyrrell then led the band in crew in prayer as a live performance of Lady A’s “Hello World” was heard playing in the background.

Lady Antebellum’s show in Manchester, England was one of the first major country concerts since the shooting occurred on Sunday night (Oct.1). Miranda Lambert also recently played a concert in Edmonton, Canada, while Little Big Town performed in Europe. Each of the performers took time to acknowledge Sunday’s massacre when they returned to the stage.

Jason Aldean, who was onstage at the time the gunfire began, announced plans to cancel his upcoming shows scheduled for this coming weekend in Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, and Anaheim, CA.

“I hope everyone understands why we can’t play this weekend and I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed,” the singer shared in a statement.

Aldean is scheduled to return to the stage in Tulsa, Okla. on Thursday, Oct. 12.
