Fresh off a romantic performance on ABC’s The Bachelor, LANCO has another reason to celebrate. The quintet has earned a No.1 album on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chat with their debut record, Hallelujah Nights. The accolade marks the first country band to top the charts with a debut album since Lady Antebellum in 2008.

“Over the past five years we wanted to ride this dream as far as it would go and it’s hard to find the words to describe our debut record at the top of the chart,” said lead singer Brandon Lancaster in a press release. “We couldn’t be more grateful to see people gravitating towards these new songs that represent who we are, and its been wild to see these crowds sing every line back to us.”

LANCO first emerged into the country music scene with their single, “Greatest Love Song,” which went No.1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Following the passionate love ballad is the group’s next single, “Born to Love You.”

“No matter where you end up or what you end up doing, you find that if you can find someone to go through life with, what you do, where you end up going, it’s all going to change, it’ll be different, but if you have that person next to you, you end up doing it for them anyway,” Lancaster explained of the track. “So you kinda find that the reason you’re really here is because of them, and you were born to love them. That’s kind of the origin of that song and how it reflects all of us.”

Fans can catch the group out on the road throughout 2018 as they open for Chris Young’s Losing Sleep World Tour through February and then launch over to Dierks Bentley’s Mountain High Tour.
