Georgia is about to come back and take over Nashville for the night in honor of the fourth annual Jameson Irish Whiskey presents Georgia On My Mind Concert.

Hosted by songwriting greats Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, the benefit show always brings in a variety of native Georgians to contribute their time and vocals for a performance like none other. The men, who make up a trio called The Peach Pickers, call up some of their fellow country music artists from the Peach State to join along for a good cause and a night to remember.

Set to appear at this year’s concert includes the members of The Peach Pickers, as well as Lauren Alaina, Kip Moore, Michael Ray, Chris Janson and many more names. Although Nashville may be miles away from the heart and soul of Georgia, the guys are happy to adopt the hometown feeling that Music City has put out to so many citizens in the community.

“This is as close to a Georgia homecoming as you are going to get in Tennessee,” said Davidson. “The popularity and success of this event is so rewarding because it celebrates our homegrown talent and allows us to give back to deserving music education programs.”

Proceeds from the Georgia On My Mind concert go back into helping music education programs through the Georgia Music Foundation. Throughout the three years that the show has been put on, they’ve raised more than $150,000 to put toward programs that reach out to many individuals about the power of music.

The Georgia On My Mind concert will be held at the Ryman Auditorium on May 16. Tickets are available for purchase now through Ticketmaster and the Ryman’s website.
