Lauren Alaina Stuns With New Hot Pink Locks

Summer: the time of cold drinks, outdoor fun, and… hair dye? At least that is what Lauren Alaina’s summer entails. The “Road Less Traveled” singer recently debuted a striking new look of bright pink hair on her social media accounts.
Alaina, who is well known as the “Queen of Puns” on social media, is never short of something witty to say for any situation. On the trail of her recent string of cheese puns while in Wisconsin for a show, she continued her tradition when posted a photo of her new hair color with the caption, “I was trying to come up with a pun, but I couldn’t PINK of one. Too much conFUSCHIAn.”
The photo shows Alaina looking like she came straight out of a punk rock band with her high-waisted black jeans, vintage Poison tee – which Alaina says is her favorite band of all time – nose ring and pink hair. Poison frontman Bret Michaels just so happened to see the picture of Alaina rocking his band’s tee and had to compliment her!

This is not the first time Alaina has gone the pink route. In 2012, the then 17-year-old added some subtle pink streaks to her long blonde locks.
Alaina’s hair just so happens to match the cover for her new single, “Doin’ Fine.” Alaina revealed that she wrote the personal song about learning to accept her flaws instead of trying to be perfect. Both the single and Alaina’s carefree new hair color make it clear that the singer is succeeding in doing just that.
