Time to take off that mask you’ve been hiding behind and celebrate your true self. That’s the message behind Lauren Duski’s new song, “Costume Party,” for which she just released the music video for.

The track highlights the singer’s need to stay grounded and authentic in an industry that asks her to wear many different masks, often concealing who she truly is. Tired of hiding, Duski is shedding the self-doubt and embracing herself in every way.

The Voice runner-up encouraged her fans to do the same by uploading videos of themselves singing the track. Many of those clips are highlighted throughout the three-and-a-half-minute clip, with several girls removing their makeup and a man going from sinner to saved.

The song caught the attention of Duski’s Voice coach, Blake Shelton, who said the song is “perfectly you.” Fellow coach Adam Levine chimed in, saying “From the first listen, it got me.”

“Costume Party” is Duski’s first single since competing on season 12 of the NBC hit show.

Fans can see Duski on several dates of Bobby Bones’ Red Hoodie Comedy Tour this fall.
