Like many others, Lindsay Ell hopped right on board the new Justin Timberlake music craze by busting out her own rendition of his most recent radio release, “Filthy.”

The song, which originally features futuristic beats and a funky flair, got stripped down to its core with Ell spinning the pop single into her own acoustic number. Not forgetting a touch of country edginess and sass in her vocal abilities, the singer jams out in a simpler way to the fresh JT tune in a newly posted YouTube clip.

Fans can get excited for even more than just this video from Ell, as she guaranteed in the description box that more was yet to come when it relates back to taking on hit songs in her own manner.

“I’m always excited for new JT music… Here’s my cover of Filthy! I’ve been out on the road in the studio a lot. So I hope I’ll be coming to see you guys on the road soon….let me know what you want me to cover next,” Ell wrote.

Over the past year, Ell has taken her career to the next level. She turned heads with the release of her debut album, The Project, while balancing tour with Brad Paisley over the summer and early fall.

Ell’s current single, “Criminal,” is at country radio now. Fans can catch her on the road this winter/spring on Paisley’s Weekend Warrior Tour.
