Lindsay Ell Puts Out ‘Waiting On You’ as New Single

“If I was given three minutes for somebody who’s never heard my name before to hear what’s going on in my heart and hear what I sound like, “Waiting on You” would be it,” Ell said about the track.

Lindsay Ell is using her guitar licks to guide her way into her new single, “Waiting On You.”

Channeling the lovely vibes of Sheryl Crow, Ell addresses her candid views on love throughout each note of the sweet serenade while jamming out on the electric guitar. Sending optimism a big hello with her positive outlook on a flowing relationship. Admitting that the love-related theme goes back into the mind of Ell, the country singer doesn’t shy away from revealing her true feelings about the song’s notion.

“If I was given three minutes for somebody who’s never heard my name before to hear what’s going on in my heart and hear what I sound like, “Waiting on You” would be it,” Ell said about the track.

With cute lyrics like, “I’m not talkin’ ‘bout no diamond rings / white picket fences, those four letter things / but you gotta make your move,” Ell drives the song into wanting something more of an already happy thing and yet not demanding the pressure of how love can get pushed and pulled. “Waiting On You” follows the simple melody into a romantic yet subtle groove for Ell to lay down her heart.

“Waiting On You” is on Ell’s most recent project, Worth the Wait, which is available now.
