Fans of Glen Campbell are in for a big treat from the country singer with the early release of his cover of “Everybody’s Talkin.”

Campbell doesn’t skip a beat when it comes to his twangy rendition of the classic tune, and adds a touch of his country charm to the hit. Keeping the banjo-picking at the fore-front of it all, Campbell’s instrumentality shines through to captivate the listener with a happy-go-lucky message that could last even when the clouds are gray.

Repeating strong lyrics like, “I’m goin’ where the sun keeps shinin’ / Through the pourin’ rain / Goin’ where the weather suits my clothes,” Campbell continues in the song’s chorus. “Bankin’ off of the northeast winds / Sailin’ on a summer breeze / Skippin’ over the ocean like a stone,” Campbell breezes easy over the track and makes for a good time.

“Everybody’s Talkin” is one of the many songs on Campbell’s forthcoming and final record, Adiós. The famous song has been passed around by a handful of artists from Fred Neil to Harry Nilsson, and can be heard in movies such as Forrest Gump and Borat.

Adiós will be available to fans everywhere on June 9. The album is available for pre-order now.
