“It's talking about something that's real, but it's told in a way that it can be tongue-in-cheek, depending on how the audience experiences it," said Wystrach.

With the harmonic vibes of bands like The Eagles and a traditional twang from the early country music days, Midland makes their mark in the genre with the release of their debut single, “Drinkin’ Problem.”

The band, which consists of Mark Wystrach, Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy, make cheeky references to spending nights in a tavern ‘til closing time as they patch up a broken heart with booze at the bar. While defining a phase many people go through in life, the guys keep the track lighthearted and fun as they address a common feeling of heartbreak.

“It’s talking about something that’s real, but it’s told in a way that it can be tongue-in-cheek, depending on how the audience experiences it,” said Wystrach recently.

Midland released their first-ever EP last October to a critically-positive response from many acclaimed sources. Their single, “Drinkin’ Problem,” though, is about to put them on the map as 2017 rolls through.

The trio of friends is currently on the road in their little old RV, following as the opening act for Aaron Lewis on his Sinner Tour.
