This spring, fans will be transported into a world unlike any other. Adapted from the best-selling novel, The Shack, the upcoming film will star Sam Worthington as a man (Mack Phillips) who has suffered an unimaginable tragedy which questions his beliefs and goes to seek solace when he receives a mysterious invitation to meet at a place called “The Shack.”

Starring as Worthington’s best friend in the film, Tim McGraw appears as voice of reason Willie. “My character Willie is sort of the lead character’s best friend and sort of the audience in a lot of ways of the movie, and looks at it from the audience perspective. I narrate the film as well, which is pretty much a treat for me to be able to do that and sort of be the voice of the film,” he shared recently.

While starring in an narrating the movie may be a tough task for some, McGraw took some extra responsibilities on his hands as he and his wife, Faith Hill, wrote and recorded an original song for the soundtrack, called “Keep Your Eyes on Me.”

“The Tim/Faith song ‘Keep Your Eyes on Me’ that anchors the movie is brilliant, resonating perfectly with one of the film’s deepest threads: an invitation to trust,” William P. Young, author of the novel on which the film is based, told PEOPLE.

The song is featured in a new trailer for The Shack, which officially hits theaters on March 3. The Shack stars Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans), McGraw, Academy Award winning actress Octavia Spencer (The Help, Hidden Figures) and Rahda Mitchell (Finding Neverland, Olympus Has Fallen).

McGraw and Hill aren’t the only country superstars lending their voices to the film’s soundtrack. Also lending songs to the film will be Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Brett Eldredge and Dan + Shay. Take a listen to McGraw & Hill’s original song above.
