Listen to Tyler Farr’s Inspired New Single, ‘I Should Go to Church Sometime’

With powerful lyrics like, “But I need a revival / For this prodigal disciple / Wipe the dust off my Bible / More than once or twice a year,” Farr remembers what it means to remain steady in one’s faith despite the distractions going on in his world.

Tyler Farr is coming back to the pews and the preaching in his new emotional single, “I Should Go to Church Sometime.”

Admitting his lack of commitment to faith within the small instances that could change a life, Farr accepts the light coming back into his life by finding his way back into the church instead of blaming his absence on his busy life. Farr acknowledges the idea that he strayed away for too long and needs to regain his beliefs from how he was raised.

“I’m not exactly known for walking the ‘straight and narrow,’ but I have a strong conscience and I was taught right from wrong. It’s something that we all face at some point. What am I going to do? How am I going to act? What am I going to do today that’s different from yesterday? That decision is what this song is all about,” explained Farr recently.

With powerful lyrics like, But I need a revival / For this prodigal disciple / Wipe the dust off my Bible / More than once or twice a year,” Farr remembers what it means to remain steady in one’s faith despite the distractions going on in his world.

“I Should Go to Church Sometime” is written by Brinley Addington, Michael Hardy and Sarah Turner, and marks Farr’s latest single to hit country radio. He’s found success on airplay previously with songs like “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” and “Whiskey in my Water.”
