Little Big Town’s haunting single “When Someone Stops Loving You” has been portrayed perfectly in a moody and cinematic new clip featuring the GRAMMY-winning quartet. Each donning a black ensemble, Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet walk along paths and hills in a desolate field until meeting together within a patch of trees to croon the harmonies that make their group unique.

“We love the song,” explained Fairchild to Sounds Like Nashville and other media. “It was one of the ones, I would say it was towards the last third of the record that we made with Jay Joyce. We do like a good six-eight country ballad and it’s just nice to hear Jimi step out there and it’s just such a beautiful lyric written by Lori McKenna, Hillary Lindsey and Chase McGill. I love the everyday man’s poetry that’s in that song. We’ve all felt that. I love that it says, ‘It don’t make the evening news.’ I think when we heard the demo of them singing it when they wrote it, we were like (gasp). Your life goes on. I mean everybody else’s life goes on and you’re back there in pain. This song really says that really well.”

The release of the video coincides with CMA Awards week, during which the group will vie for the title of Video of the Year for their song “Better Man” at the 51st annual CMA Awards. Little Big Town is nominated for four awards during “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” which takes place Wednesday, Nov. 8 on ABC.

Little Big Town will take “When Someone Stops Loving You,” “Better Man,” “Happy People” and many other of their smash hits out on the road when they embark on their The Breaker Tour, featuring special guests Kacey Musgraves and Midland. The tour kicks off on Feb. 8, 2018 in Oklahoma, OK.
