The LOCASH family continues to grow as Chris Lucas and his wife Kaitlyn are expecting their third child together this fall! Lucas confirmed the news to Taste of Country during this year’s Country Radio Seminar.

“She’s got endometriosis so I didn’t think Remi was going to be born, and then she’s born and the doctor’s like ‘It’s a miracle,” Lucas told the publication during a recent interview of the daughter they welcomed in March 2016, adding the new addition will join their family in September.

Lucas has always been open about their struggle to conceive, talking to Us Weekly about what it meant to finally get pregnant.

“We’d spent five years with no luck with conceiving a second child,” he said. “Just when we thought it was unlikely and wasn’t going to happen, our little boy came to us and said he wanted a sister, so we told him to pray to God that night! Well, one month later, we were pregnant! We feel so blessed and are extremely excited.”

The new bundle of joy will be the couple’s third child together and will join 6-year-old big brother Caden and nearly one-year-old Remi. Lucas’ band mate Preston Brust is equally busy with diaper duty as he and his wife welcomed their daughter, Love Lily, in January 2016.

The duo has much to celebrate lately as they recently received their first nomination for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year for the upcoming 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards.
