Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert Attend the 2014 American Music Awards (& Win Big!)

The 2014 American Music Awards took place Sunday night live from Los Angeles. With performances ranging from Garth Brooks to One Direction to Nicki Minaj, the night was full of fun and surprises.

Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and Lucy Hale each attended the show. Brooks performed “People Loving People” via satellite.

The night’s big winners included Gilbert, whose latest release Just As I Am won the title of Favorite Country album, and Bryan, who earned his third consecutive win in the Favorite Male Country Artist category. “I wanna thank God above for letting me tour night in and night out on the road. I want to thank the fans for making it possible to stand up here and win the awards,” he said, also thanking “my band, my crew, bus driver, momma and them, you know.”
