“It’s an amazing situation that I have been blessed to be in and it’s a situation where it takes a group of writers like this to make it happen,” Bryan told Sounds Like Nashville and other media.

It’s no surprise that when Luke Bryan releases a song, it immediately hits the top of the charts. Some songs rise faster than others, but eventually, they all take the No.1 slot. Because of his endless success, the Georgia native has been busier than ever and unable to celebrate until yesterday (10/24) when he gathered with the songwriters for his past seven No.1 hits at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for a massive celebration.

“It’s an amazing situation that I have been blessed to be in and it’s a situation where it takes a group of writers like this to make it happen,” Bryan told Sounds Like Nashville and other media during a press conference prior to the event. “It takes a band and a crew and a whole bunch of people sending our tour down the road, playing shows. It takes people behind the scenes, management and you got Jessie here, my publicist, record labels, and it’s all… you work so hard for 10 years to get to a point where you look up and you have a song going up the charts in 15, 16 weeks. I mean, I try not to live too fast. I try to take a break and enjoy it as it happens, but I truly do appreciate what what’s going on and the rarity of having success to where you’re No.1’s are kind of outrunning your ability to have a party.

The moment was overwhelming for the hit maker as he reflected on the amazing things he’s accomplished from his Kill the Lights album and the songs appearing on that record.

“I think a lot of us got together out at my barn last August,” he continued. “We had an album listening party for ‘Kill The Lights’ and we celebrated that. We had fun and now we get to celebrate here, going on 16, 17 months later and we get to see the product of everybody’s hard work and the product of everybody’s dreams coming true and moving to Nashville and doing what we all dreamed we’d do. When you get here and have success in the music business. I don’t think anybody up here in these chairs, they clock in every day, we’re all clocking in every day and we don’t ever take a second of it for granted. It’s the best job in the world, certainly on days like this.”

After the press conference, Bryan, along with Dallas Davidson, Ashley Gorley, Michael Carter, Luke Laird, Ross Copperman, Jon Nite, Tommy Cecil, Jaida Dreyer, Jody Stevens, Cole Taylor, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, performed the seven sensations, “Play It Again,” “Roller Coaster,” “I See You,” “Kick The Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” “Home Alone Tonight,” and “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day.”

Bryan is currently at radio with his feel-good, sure-to-be next No.1 “Move,” the fifth single off of Kill the Lights.
