In the aftermath of the Las Vegas shooting, which left 59 dead and more than 500 injured, Luke Bryan is promising to do “everything possible” to keep his fans safe at his upcoming Farm Tour concerts.

The Georgia native is set to bring his popular festival-style event to Fort Wayne, IN, Edinburg, IL, and Centralia, MO beginning Thursday (Oct. 5). Not wanting his fans to worry about their safety in the aftermath of the shooting that took place at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, Bryan shared an update regarding security to his Facebook page on Tuesday (Oct. 3).

“We are greatly saddened by the event that took place in Vegas and are praying for those country music fans, their families and all involved,” he wrote. “We want to assure our fans that we are working with state and local officials to do everything possible to ensure your safety during our Farm Tour shows. Country Music has always been about community and we will continue to stand together.”

The superstar also spoke about the Las Vegas massacre during his visit to Good Morning America on Wednesday (Oct. 4), calling “one of the most heartbreaking days of my life.”

“Hearing one of your best friends shaken up like that, knowing they’ll never be able to un-see these things, you get lumps and you get nauseated,” Bryan said, recalling the moment he spoke with his good friend Jason Aldean for the first time after the shooting. “There’s just got to be something we can do. From the mental health issue to all of the issues that are causing these things.”

After making the media rounds in New York City to promote his new role as a judge on the upcoming season of American Idol, Bryan will make his way to Fort Wayne for the kick-off to the final weekend of the Farm Tour. Joining him on the road for the final dates of the tour will be Jon PardiAdam Craig, the Peach Pickers (Rhett AkinsDallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip), Jon Langston and DJ Rock.
