Since bursting onto the scene more than a decade ago, Luke Bryan has been on a hot streak of No.1 singles. The Georgia native isn’t showing signs of slowing down after notching his 21st chart-topper with “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset.”

The song, co-written by Zach Crowell, Ryan Hurd and Chase McGill, is Bryan’s third consecutive No.1 from his What Makes You Country album.

“These guys knocked it out of the park. You hear that title and so much of it just sticks with you,” shared Bryan in a press release. “They painted so many wonderful pictures of youth and young love. This is one of my most favorite songs I’ve ever recorded!”

Equally as thrilled as Bryan was Hurd, who scored his second No.1 as a songwriter.

“We passed the guitar ‘round the fire to each other, watched all of our friends pair off with one another, and everyone knew that that was our summer. Thank you Luke for hearing something special in ‘Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset’ and for capping off our summer by making it a #1 hit song,” he wrote. “So proud to share this with my friends Chase and Zach. Chase, congrats on your first number one song. It feels right that we got to do that together. Thank you to my publishers at Universal, to Autumn and everyone at the label who championed us. I’m so lucky to get to do the only job I’ve ever wanted and so proud to be a part of the Nashville songwriting community.”

Bryan will celebrate the song’s success when he takes over the streets of downtown Nashville for a free concert in celebration of the grand opening of his new bar and restaurant, Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink. The show kicks off at 6:30 p.m. tonight with special guests Jon Langston, Chelsea Field and DJ Rock.
