Rain was a good thing for Luke Bryan as he took the stage in Rockefeller Plaza to play the Today Citi Concert Series on Friday (6/3).

Even though the audience got a little wet while watching Bryan perform, it didn’t rain on anyone’s parade as he sang some of his top hits from over the years. His setlist consisted of songs like “Strip It Down,” “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” and “I Don’t Want This Night to End.”

Bryan was very interactive with the crowd, getting them to shake it and clap along to each of his songs. On the Today show Snapchat, it was seen that his biggest fan (or maybe littlest) gifted Bryan with a brand new trucker cap. He proceeded to sign the young girl’s cowboy hat and made her smile bright.

For Bryan though, he explained to Matt Lauer that despite his busy schedule, it’s the fun crowds that keep him going.

“When I step on stage, I am energized by the energy of the crowd and if I’m out there not having any fun, then I’m not gonna be in this business anymore. And I try to really relish the fact that this is my dream come true and this is what I get to do for a living and the fans have paid really hard-earned money to come see shows,” said Bryan.

His pit stop by the Today Plaza was just a quick break from his Kill The Lights Tour that Bryan will continue on through the summer. Check out his performances from the morning talk show below.
